Here at Coastal Urgent Care, our facility is equipped with on-site X-ray and lab services. This allows doctors to find out what’s wrong and prescribe treatment faster. As one of the only non-emergency medical centers in the area, we’ll do everything we can to help you start feeling like yourself again.
In-house diagnostics come in handy for patients who have a possible infection or another condition that must be confirmed conclusively before treatment. For example, if your doctor suspects strep, he or she can collect a sample and run it down to the lab right away. Normally, you might have to go home and wait several days for results. But thanks to our on-site services, we’re able to provide rapid results before you even check out.
Once the results come in, your doctor can write up a prescription (if needed) and send you on your way. In some cases, further testing may be required.
If you sprain your ankle or hurt your arm, you can save yourself an expensive trip to the emergency room by coming to Coastal Urgent Care. Your doctor can order an X-ray and have it done right here in the lab. They’ll be able to take a look and better address problems caused by injuries to bones and joints thanks to fast, high-quality medical imaging.
